Five words that describe you:
Genuine, hungry, curious, restless, inspired
If you were a genre of music, what genre would you be?
Polka because few people get it, but the ones who do really appreciate it. I don’t even really know much about polka, but it felt like it’s the best way to describe what genre I would be.
How would you describe your style of photography?
Adventurous, dynamic and fun. My goal is to bring out the personality of my seniors and to make them comfortable in front of the camera. I love shooting on location vs. in studio so that the photos have more of a candid and editorial feel to them.
What do you like best about senior photography?
I love getting to know the stories of my seniors. It is such an exciting time in their lives and I’m charged with trying to capture that so they can look back on their photos and be proud of them twenty years from now. Graduating from high school is a big deal. They will soon be leaving the nest and starting their own lives. Being around that excited energy rewards me and pushes me to continue to grow as a photographer.
